Volunteers make it possible for Dress for Success Houston to serve thousands of women each year. From mentors to instructors, the personal touch added by a volunteer is often the connection a client needs to inspire them along the path to self-sufficiency.

Work one-on-one with clients to help them find the perfect interview suit as well as the confidence boost they need to succeed in their interviews and beyond.
Help organize and ticket clothing donations and assist with inventory-related projects. Maintain the appearance of DFSH’s store.
Front Desk Volunteers
Greet clients and volunteers, answer phones, schedule clients, and make reminder phone calls to clients.
Job Search Skills Volunteers
Job Search Skills volunteers assist job seeking clients through their job search by teaching them various skills and strategies that will help them gain a job and retain it thereafter. These skills include, resume writing, LinkedIn facilitation and networking, and mock interviews.
Weekend and Evening Logistics Supporter
Assist the Dress for Success Houston staff by managing the Child Watch center, front desk & PWG meeting logistics to ensure that operations run smoothly.
Admin/ Data Entry
Enter data into our internal database or Excel. Should have familiarity with all Microsoft Office products.
Client Outreach Specialist
Track first suit clients that have not returned to DFS Houston via follow-up call and discuss different program options with the clients. Assist with scheduling the client in the database.
Help watch the children of our Professional Women’s Group members while they are in their meetings. Children will be between 4-11 years old. Background check required for this position.
